WWE
is betting they will have luck and solid numbers as
they re-enter the online casino game arena - interestingly
at a time when their audience average age is increasing
(to an age where their audience can legally play casino
games). Hey, timing is everything right punters? The
WWE have been looking to catch another break following
their WWE on SmackDown deal, and this may reap major
Moolah (yes, pun intended).
The
sports entertainment giant has partnered with leading
gaming company Bluberi to produce a new series of
slot games featuring past and present Superstars (that's
WWE speak for pro wrestlers customers).
The
new machines will see top stars of today such as Roman
Reigns, John Cena, Triple H, Ronda Rousey and RAW
Women's Champion Becky Lynch appear in the slot machines,
as well as Hall of Famers like 'Stone Cold' Steve
Austin, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan. Hogan has previously
been featured in non-WWE affiliated slot games at
bricks and mortal casinos in the United States and
parts of Canada.
In
a statement, WWE's Senior VP of Consumer Products
Sarah Cummins said:
Bluberi
is one of the most reputable companies in the gaming
industry and has a long history of developing high-quality
products.
This
new partnership will allow players to engage with
their favorite WWE Superstars and Legends in casinos
across the country in new and exciting ways.
The
Media Man Group is currently awaiting a launch date
on the "one armed bandits".
